What is PressNomics?

There is a diverse group of passionate and very successful entrepreneurs creating the products and services that drive the WordPress economy. PressNomics is a 3 day event for these folks to collaborate, learn, and relax.

Simply: The best unofficial WordPress conference ever.

There have been 5 events, the most recent in April 2017, which have brought together the best and brightest in the WordPress business community. These events have also raised over $40k for various charities, but primarily for childhood cancer research. The event is hosted by Pagely and supported by commercial entities in the WordPress ecosystem.

Tucson is about 2hrs SE by car from Phoenix, however our local airport TUS also features direct flights from several US locations. We recommend flying into Tucson on the 10th, Rent a car, Taxi or Uber to the Venue - approximately a 30min drive. Fly out the 14th.

Rahul Bansal

Rahul is the founder and CEO of rtCamp — an enterprise WordPress VIP agency based in India and the USA.

Rahul’s started using WordPress in 2007 as a professional blogger. Over a decade, Rahul has contributed to the WordPress community in different ways such as a WordCamp speaker/organizer, polyglot, developer and through side projects such as EasyEngine.

He is currently working on increasing WordPress penetration within large enterprises.

Outside of WordPress, he loves spending time with his son and is a self-proclaimed foodie.


Carl Alexander

Carl Alexander is a PHP developer from Montréal, Canada. Whenever he’s not targeted by various memes, he’s helping developers improve their skills. He shares a lot of that on his website where he publishes articles on a regular basis. He’s often confused with his much more popular and attractive cardboard double.

Morten Rand-Hendriksen

Morten is a senior staff instructor at LinkedIn Learning (formerly with 60+ courses published on WordPress, web standards, design and UX, and future technologies. His current focus is design- and tech-ethics and how emerging technologies will shape our collective futures. Morten occasionally teaches Interaction Design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, contributes to WordPress core and community projects, and wears out his shoes on the ballroom dance floor. In his spare time you’ll find him playing with his son or trying to take things apart and putting them together again.

Robert Rowley

Robert Rowley

Robert is a Sr. InfoSec Engineer for Pagely and has been an active member of the Southern California hacking scene for over the last 10+ years. Co-Founding Irvine underground and recently presenting on many topics including Juice Jacking, Web Application Security and more. Today he spends his days constantly improving Pagely’s threat mitigation protocols and methods.

Brooke Siem is a “categorically homeless” writer, chef, and certified breathwork coach. After founding a Manhattan boozy cupcake company and winning Food Network’s “Chopped,” an opportunity to travel around the world for a year fell into her lap. Prescribed antidepressant and anti-anxiety drugs at 15 years old after her father’s sudden death, the opportunity for a life abroad sparked the realization that she had been heavily medicated for half of her life. She decided to make a massive change.

First, she booked a one-way ticket to Malaysia.

Then, she got off all the prescription drugs.

Two years and 19 countries later, Brooke’s primary focus is on spreading a message of hope to those who are suffering from depression. She is living proof that it is possible to heal and thrive after chronic depression and long-term antidepressants, no matter how far down the rabbit hole we once were.
